Coincidiendo con la presentación oficial de la exposición Relationship of Shape and Colors de Choichi Nishikava, que ocupa el Laboratorio de Arte íntimo en formato de instalación artística específica, Kaori llevó a cabo la acción artística Chanoyu.

La acción tuvo lugar el día 23 de Marzo de 2019, a las 21:30 h.

Chado, también conocido como Chanoyu, es un término utilizado normalmente para referirse a la Ceremonia Japonesa del Té. Es una disciplina espiritual y estética para el refinamiento del ser - conocido en japonés como "do", un "camino". La palabra "Chado" significa "el camino del te".

Esta costumbre llamada Chado se centra en la actividad de anfitrión e invitado, compartiendo un tiempo reconfortante alrededor de un  cuenco de té matcha. El objetivo del anfitrión es ofrecer al invitado un inolvidable y satisfactorio cuenco de té, y el invitado responde con gratitud, comprendiendo ambos que el tiempo compartido nunca puede ser repetido; esta es una ocasión "una vez en la vida" .

Chado, also known as Chanoyu and commonly referred to as the Japanese Tea Ceremony in English, is a spiritual and aesthetic discipline for refinement of the self — known in Japanese as a "do," a 'way'. The word 'Chado' means "the way of tea."

This way called Chado centers on the activity of host and guest spending a mutually heartwarming time together over a bowl of matcha tea. The host aims to serve the guest an unforgettably satisfying bowl of tea, and the guest responds with thankfulness, both of them realizing that the time shared can never be repeated, that it is a "once in a lifetime" occasion.

Prof. Sokou Kaori Nishikawa, Kaori, has been learning Chado from her master every weekend for 30 years. The foreign artists she has invited to her room are: April Vollmer / USA; Triny Prada / France; Sean Caulfield / Canada; Nuria Vila Vicente / Spain; Maria Castellanos Vicente/ Spain; Alberto Valverde Garcia / Spain, etc.
